Hitman Trilogy HD Lands in January

Call it a rumor no more: Three classic Hitman games have been re-mastered and are prepped for re-release on January 29. Even though Square Enix has still yet to confirm the title’s existence, online retailers are taking pre-orders and offering official release dates with what looks like official box and promotional art.

According to the game’s Amazon listing, Hitman Trilogy HD comes with Hitman: Blood Money, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Contracts, and the Limited Edition version includes a killer (get it?!) art book. All three titles have been updated to HD, a process that has seen mixed results depending on the developer who undertook the task and the game on which they were working.

We’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on Hitman HD? Will you be picking this up in January (there’s not much else due that month)?
