GAMERS HOOD: MEDAL OF HONOR WARFIGHTER

Medal of Honor Warfighter is the sequel to Danger Close and DICE's 2010 Medal of Honor. Unlike the previous Medal of Honor, Medal of Honor Warfighter will only worked on by Danger Close. It will run on the Frostbite 2 engine, the same engine used in Battlefield 3.

The game will run on DICE's Frostbite 2 (the same engine that Battlefield 3 uses). Both single-player and multiplayer are going to use the latest version of Frostbite 2. It only supports Windows Vista/7 and DirectX 10 and 11. It will include six different classes which are Assault, Sniper, Demolitions, Point Man, Heavy Gunner, and Spec Ops. It utilizes a fire team system where two people must work together and there will be certain perks to working as a team.

The game is the direct sequel to Medal of Honor and will continue the story from the previous game. Players will continue to control Tier 1 Operators through various scenarios, including rescuing hostages in Abu Sayyaf’s stronghold in the Philippines, and assaulting Al-Shabaab’s Pirate Town on the Somali Coast. Missions will be based off several recent events and will have an over-arching storyline connecting them. It was first revealed that the original characters from Medal of Honor – Mother, Preacher, Voodoo and many others – will return in the sequel. The game's plot reveals Tier 1 operator Preacher returns home to find his family torn apart from years of deployment.

Players will control Tier 1 Operatives from all over the world. Danger Close wants a "FIFA Feel" for Warfighter, meaning they want people from all over the world to play as their country's team. MOH Warfighter will include:

Danger Close is teaming up with various weapon and weapon attachment manufacturers to bring a more authentic feel to Medal of Honor Warfighter.

A limited edition will be sold alongside the regular version of Medal of Honor Warfighter. Like Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor, the Limited Edition will not cost anymore than the regular version, but it will include special features. Special Features include the US Navy SEAL Sniper and the McMillan Tac-300 Sniper Rifle. Normally, these would require around 40 hours of multiplayer play to unlock.

PC Gamers who pre-order the PC Digital Deluxe pack at $69.99 will receive all content from the British SAS Spec Ops pack as well as the Russian Spetsnaz Alfa Group Heavy Gunner. The Spetsnaz utilize and employ heavy weaponry more often than most Special Operations units. They see fire superiority as a priority in any engagement and therefore excel at suppression tactics, covering fire and support for their comrades. PC Digital Deluxe owners will also receive the digital game soundtrack for Medal of Honor Warfighter.
