Earth Defense Force 2025 Coming Next Year

If you’ve enjoyed the sci-fi shooter series Earth Defense Force in the past, there’s some good news – a new addition to the series is coming out next year, and it plans on being crazier than ever.

Sandlot, developer of Earth Defense Force 2017, has announced that it’s working on a new 2013 release in the form of Earth Defense Force 2025.  The game will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will feature plenty of four-player co-op action.

Earth Defense Force 2025 is bound to come with plenty of new features of its own in the form of new weapons and the like, but you can expect similar action from its predecessors in the series.  In case you’ve never experienced Earth Defense Force gameplay before, it basically entails plenty of chaotic urban destruction while you try to shoot robots with rockets.  Throw in other elements such as humongous ants and spiders, and, well, you get the picture…
