Check Out Assassin’s Creed III’s Stunning Recreations of Historic Buildings

As anyone who's been paying attention is well aware, Assassin's Creed III will be taking place during the Revolutionary War in America: A historic time in the birth of the United States.
Game maker Ubisoft is going to painstaking lengths to get an authentic feel for the 1700s New England which you can see with their digital recreation of some of the historical buildings that still stand to this day.

 Even in Japan, where generally western games take a back seat to blockbusters made by Japanese companies, it's nice to see the Assassin's Creed buzz is gaining momentum.
In Weekly Famitsu where readers are polled for what games they are looking forward to on a weekly basis, Assassin's Creed III has been creeping up the charts like Desmond climbing a building as the release date approaches. Two weeks ago, the game was 20th in the rankings. Last week, it was 18th. This week, it jumped another 2 spots to number 16. Weekly Famitsu will also be spending the next 6 weeks covering the game in depth.
Assassin's Creed III is scheduled for release in the US on October 30th, in Europe on October 31st, and in Japan on November 15th.
